In our GardenSmart workshop series, you’ll learn how to grow your own food, reduce waste and support our local ecology.
If you want to build your soil, understand garden bugs or delve more deeply into vegetable gardening, fruit tree maintenance and more, check out our spring, summer and fall sustainable gardening programs.
Don’t have any gardening experience? Don’t worry! GardenSmart programs are designed to be accessible to newer gardeners and to add to the knowledge base of more seasoned gardeners.
The GardenSmart Workshop Series is a collaboration between the North Shore Recycling Program, the Edible Garden Project, the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre and Cultivate. There is an $8.25 charge per workshop. This minimal charge helps our partners continue their valuable work in our community.
Workshops occur in different indoor and outdoor locations around the North Shore.
