Multi-Family Building Food Scraps Collection

If you live in an apartment, condo or a townhouse with municipal garbage collection, please contact your municipality to discuss your property's eligibility for the Green Can Program. If you live in an apartment, condo or townhouse with private garbage collection, contact your garbage hauler to discuss adding food scraps collection to your contract. There are many private haulers who will provide this service and it is a common practice to offset the cost of organics collection by reducing the frequency of garbage collection.

The following is a list of companies that have indicated that they offer organics (including food scraps, food-soiled paper and yard trimmings) collection services to multi-family buildings (apartments, condominiums) and businesses on the North Shore.
